The platinum selling band reigned over the early 2000s with their melodic post grunge style of rock music. Seether rose to fame in the early 2000s with their illustrious singles, “Fine Again” and “Gasoline.” But it was “Broken,” released in 2004 that put them on the map. The single became a global hit, and earned four time platinum in the US. Follow up single, “Remedy,” also went to number 1 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Throughout the 2000s, Seether was a figure in the goth rock post grunge driven tunes.
Hoobastank brings alternative rock music to insane heights. Their first wowed listeners with “Crawling in the Dark,” breaking into the Top 10 of Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart and entering the Billboard Hot 100. The success continued with the follow up single, “Running Away.” In 2003, the band released their biggest single to date, “The Reason,” which soared to number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 plus it went quadruple platinum in the US.
Oklahoma born band Hinder released their debut album Extreme Behavior in 2005 and found staggering success in the US charts. The album, which spawned mega hit “Lips of An Angel,” sold over three million copies in the US, earning the band a triple platinum status.
