Evanescence rose to stardom in 2003 upon releasing their debut single, “Bring Me to Life.” The triple platinum selling song charted at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped numerous charts across the globe. The single was spawned from their debut album, Fallen, which sold over ten million copies in the US, earning Evanescence its first diamond certification. The album became their best selling effort to date and earned the band two Grammy Awards, but that didn’t stop Evanescence from releasing impressive follow up efforts. In 2006, their sophomore album The Open Door earned double platinum and went to number 1 on the Billboard 200. By 2011, the band continued their winning streak with their self–titled third effort. The album also went to number 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned an amazing gold status in the US.
Grammy nominated metal band Spiritbox recently dropped their sophomore album Tsunami Sea. The band came out in 2016 and was heavily influenced by bands like Evanescence, Deftones, and Tesseract. In a span of less then a decade, Spiritbox gained incredible traction, especially with the release of their debut album Eternal Blue. Spiritbox has earned three Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance for songs “Jaded,” “Cellar Door,” and “Soft Spine.”

Amy Love and Georgia South are fast rising stars with much deserved nominations at the Brit Awards and Mercury Prize.
