Alt-rock and post-grunge music juggernauts Līve and Collective Soul have joined forces for a co-headlining tour dubbed The Summer Unity Tour 2025. Līve and Collective Soul will take center stage at the Isleta Amphitheater on Monday, 18th August 2025, with special supporting acts Our Lady Peace and Greylin James Rue. Līve and Collective Soul crossed paths seventeen years ago in Woodstock '94. Now fate has brought them together, this time, on the main stage, to bring powerful doses of their classic hits. Līve's much-awaited setlist would most likely include fan faves from the 1993 "Throwing Copper" album -- "Selling The Drama", "I, Alone", "Lightning Crashes", and many more. From Collective Soul's corner, the band will definitely illuminate all sides with their massive hit "Shine", plus rock gems like "December", "The World I Know", and "Where the River Flows", among others. Alt-rockers will unite and mosh as one in this year's Summer Unity Tour. Post-grunge music heroes Līve and Collective Soul are raising their musical emblems at the mainstage. Both bands have collided in a not-so-distant past, and have since established a shared camaraderie. This tour marks their first collab tour, reunited to share the stage after seventeen years. Fans are hyped over the fact that a combined setlist would be such an explosive concert experience. Both bands are equally enthusiastic about this joint gig, as well as reminiscing about how their first meet-up at Woodstock '94 turned into an enduring friendship.
“Līve is thrilled to be joining forces with the amazing Collective Soul! The great vibes between our two bands on and offstage is something we have both enjoyed for years, and here we come in 2025! This will be a very special night of music for all of the fans; I know everyone is gonna get rocked and uplifted right along with us…come on out!” - Ed Kowalczyk
“It was August 1994, and we, Collective Soul, were on our way to Woodstock. As our van pulled up to the grounds, another one pulled up beside us and out jumped the band +LIVE+. We became immediate friends, exchanging guitar picks with each other as soon as we met. Since that day, the Ed and Ed show has been nothing but pure, genuine friendship, and rock and roll. We’re excited that 31 years later, we still not only enjoy each other’s company, but enjoy playing music. It’s going to be a fun summer sharing it with fans, friends and Līve.” - Ed Roland
The Summer Unity tour 2025 also features special guest rockers Our Lady Peace and Greylin James Rue.
As Līve unleashed the album "Throwing Copper" in 1994, they've been catching platinum discs from all over the world, as the band had a long string of hits from that album which include - "Lightning Crashes", "Selling The Drama", "All Over You", "I Alone". Līve's emotionally charged music, introspective lyrics, and driving melodies delivered flawlessly by Līve lead vocalist Ed Kowalczyk's commanding presence keep the audience immersed, fixated, and surrendering to the power of their music. Līve has had a strong foothold in the music scene with two number one albums, "Throwing Copper" and "Secret Samadhi", selling over 23 million records worldwide, and still remains an active and dynamic force in the rock touring circuit.
One of Collective Soul's shining moments was when they went from an obscure band from Georgia, USA, to a global phenomenon, all thanks to their number one monster lead single "Shine", from their self-titled debut album. The Collective Soul album reached record sales of triple platinum as it resided for 76 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. From there, the album churned out more number-one singles like "The World I Know", "December", and "Where the River Flows". These and more Collective Soul fan favorites and deeper cuts are what audiences can look forward to in this year's Summer Unity Tour with Līve. Collective Soul radiates high energy and shines best with their tight musicianship, soaring riffs, and robust vocal harmonies. No wonder, they have a thriving career that keeps their fans loyal and a legacy of songs that continue to harness new generations of music fans.
