Of all rock bands, few can claim to have had a legacy quite like that of KISS. Originally formed of band members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehley, Kiss have had a lineup that has rotated throughout the years, the changes kept smooth and cohesive by their trademark look and imagery, which has become one of the best-known in the world of hard rock.
Known for their elaborate stage shows and costumes, Kiss’ new promotional images for the upcoming tour showcase what appears to be an all-new look for the band, especially for the 2019 tour!! While their last touring costume set was in the same vein as their “Creatures of the Night” era of the early 80s, the new look is more refined, with ornate decorations of rhinestones, studs and leather, and a more mature overall vibe to befit the celebration of the end of their long and illustrious career. The artwork also confirms their current touring lineup: Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer.
