Shinedown is to rock what a powerhouse is to electricity; without them, the genre just wouldn't work. They formed in Jacksonville, Florida, during the early 2000s and consisted of Brent Smith (lead), Jasin Todd (guitar), Brad Stewart (bass), and Barry Kerch (drums). Together, the band released their first two albums, which were 2003's "Leave a Whisper" and 2005's "Us and Them."

In the late 2000s, the band had a line up change, with Smith and Kerch staying on as original members and seeing the addition of Eric Bass (bass) and Zach Myers (guitar), and the group has remained constant ever since, creating a further five albums, including 2008's "The Sound of Madness," 2012's "Threat to Survival," 2018's "Attention Attention," and their newest, 2022's "Planet Zero."

They've put out seven stellar albums total, which resulted in massive commercial success for the group; they have had 18 singles that peaked at number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts, and every single released thereafter peaked in the top five. This phenomenal feat has led to the sale of over 10 million copies of their music around the globe. Also, Billboard's list of the "Greatest of All Time Rock Artists" included Shinedown at the very top. Something they have become very proud of.

Furthermore, adding to their already impressive career stats, they have just around 6.5 billion streams globally, 15 platinum and gold certified singles, and platinum and gold certification for every single one of their albums released to date.

Their latest studio effort, "Planet Zero," has already outdone itself, reaching number one on six different Billboard charts and giving fans two superb singles, "Dead Don't Die" and "A Symptom of Being Human," both of which have received critical acclaim.

Their live shows are out of this world, with high-octane action from slamming guitars, heart-pounding drums, and intense vocals. No real fan will want to miss out on any of this spectacular action, and with a huge following, you can expect tickets to fly off the shelves.
