This year’s Grey Day Tour brings forth a new, exciting development! The prolific kings of underground rap, Suicideboys, are releasing new music this summer. That means the trailblazing duo will be serving some new and never-heard-before staples! It will not be surprising to see this tour bring in fans by the tens of thousands. After all, the Grey Day Tour has sold out numerous times in the past. For instance, last year’s outing was a fully stacked line-up with the Suicideboys leading the way across countless cities. With their music released through their own music label, G*59 Records, Scrim, and Ruby da Cherry spearheaded an underground movement - a subgenre in which artists rap along to hip-hop, rap, and metal music. The Suicideboys’ hard-hitting rhythms, compelling dark lyrics, and angst-driven vocals have made them a standout. It was only a matter of time before their studio efforts broke into the charts. In 2018, the Suicideboys’ debut album, I Want To Die in New Orleans, peaked at number 9 in the U.S. chart. Thereafter, their subsequent albums, 2021’s Long Term Effects of Suffering and 2022’s Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation, did even better and soared to number 7 and sold over half a million copies in the U.S.each.
